I have been working in the “caring” industry since my early 20’s, beginning with 8 ½ years in the Hospice Industry, and working in private practice as a psychotherapist. I have seen up close and personal, the effects of compassion fatigue in my clients and in myself as a ‘helper’. My somatic movement practice, Nia, is key in helping me manage my stress, move energy out and through, discharge emotion, calm anxiety…and allows me to share the ‘movement medicine’ of Nia Moving to Heal with all bodies-minds-spirits who enter my sessions! It is my honor to share this practice with you today….and in future sessions!
“Nia makes me feel whole! It’s the most meaningful cardio workout I have ever done. I had been looking for years for a way to exercise my heart physically and emotionally and Nia is it! “
